Yandere Anime Girlfriend: The Mean Waifu Sim - SUCKS!!!!!

Welcome back my weebs and otakus, it's Otakunofuji with a very brief public service announcement about Yandere Anime Girlfriend: The Mean Waifu Sim on Nintendo Switch. It sucks. It's one of the worst most disappointing things I've played in a while. I don't like to swear on this channel, but goddamn it sucks. I spent money on it with the intention of making a video, though, so here it is. 

The screenshots on the Nintendo eShop fool you with decent looking sexy big boobie babes and the promise of a yandere waifu doing deliciously mean things to keep you in line, and, more importantly, it clearly isn't another idiotic sliding block image puzzle game so it caught my attention right away. But the reality is that it's a horrible terrible no good waste of time pointless defense game with insipid gameplay. 

See, you have a heart, and a little doodad orbits the heart, and you change the direction and speed of the little orbiting doodad in order to intercept things attacking your heart. As you block the little attacking whatevers, a picture of your waifu slowly uncovers until ... I genuinely don't know what happens next because I'm absolutely terrible at the game. I haven't even seen any of the yandere stuff yet because I get completely bored with the gameplay and die after about 20-seconds. I just truly hate it so much.

But that's my point - Whether I'm bad at it or not doesn't change the fact that the gameplay is some wretched ultra simple mobile phone dreck from like 2003 that they slapped some anime girl pictures onto that absolutely isn't any fun whatsoever. I should have known better, but from the handful of screenshots (there was no video trailer, of course) I genuinely couldn't even tell what I was looking at and what the gameplay was actually going to be.  

This game utterly fails at its #1 basic purpose for existing in the first place, which is to deliver hot sexy waifus in a reasonably fun way. The gameplay is not fun at all. Period. It's abysmal. It's putrid. It's dreadful, terrible, awful, hopeless, woeful, rotten, crummy, pathetic, and dire. 

I keep saying in all of these lewd Switch game videos that we don't need to spend money on these horrible games to see hot anime girls because there's millions of them for free on the internet. But we play these games because playing something reasonably enjoyable and getting rewarded with anime ladies makes it all the more fun and titillating. But if your gameplay is so garbage that it blocks access to the thing we're actually after, what is even the point? You have absolutely 100% failed as a game developer. 

Yandere Anime Girlfriend: The Mean Waifu Sim is $12 normally but had a launch price under $5. It absolutely is not worth even that much. Don't be tempted like I was because the yandere concept sounded fun - it flat out isn't worth it. It's a huge, huge, huge waste of money.
